Phoenix Contact’s new Cable Entry System (CES) makes it possible to pass pre-wired cables through an enclosure wall without cutting the terminated connector end. This maintains the integrity, warranty, and approvals of the pre-wired cable. CES features a wide selection of cable grommets that fit around nearly any type of cable before mounting to the enclosure wall.

The plastic CES sealing frames contain metal reinforcements for rigidity and protect against deformation. The frames are available with screw or locking latches. Both versions can be screw-mounted directly to an enclosure wall or combined with the snap frame to simplify installation.

The cable grommets provide strain relief and up to IP65 protection. The grommets come in either thermoplastic or NBR rubber. The gray thermoplastic grommets are flame-resistant to UL 94V0 and highly resistant to acids and industrial cleaners.

The black NBR grommets come in a cone shape that allows them to seal a wide variety of cable diameters. Two versions cover diameter sizes from 2mm to 24mm, eliminating the need for specific-sized grommets. They can operate in environments with wide temperature fluctuations. They resist oils, fuel, grease, and are halogen-free.
