Postronics’ Combo-D Power Contact for Use with Size 6 AWG Wire
March 2008—Positronics’ Combo-D (CBD Series) connectors offer many combinations, including power, shielded, signal, high voltage, air, and thermocouple contact options. A wide variety of variants and accessories are available.

Positronics is now able to introduce power contact options for use with size 6 AWG wire. These new power contacts have a low contact resistance of 0.0003 ohms maximum per IEC 512-2, Test 2b. Current ratings are up to 110 amps per contact per U.L. 1977. They are suitable for applications up to 450 volts A.C.
