Why did you choose this industry for your profession?
I didn’t realize it at the time, but getting in this industry was an excellent choice. The industry continues to grow and is constantly changing. New technologies emerge constantly, making this industry a great place to work.
If I knew then what I know now, I would have:
Gone to college overseas, Europe or Asia, perhaps.
The best advice anyone ever gave me was:
“You can’t learn anything when you are speaking!”
What trend in the industry is affecting your job and what would you like to do about it?
Globalization. Continue to learn to best manage our global teams to accomplish more than what a person or an organization in one location can accomplish. Take the best practices from around the world and leverage them to make our company the best it can be.
Other comments:
This is a great industry we are in, with so many great people. With technology expanding at such a rapid pace and the expected growth of developing countries, the outlook for the future looks even better.
