Yamaichi Electronics is the world's

surface mounting an IC device onto a production board, many FAEs wish to do
some form of emulation or prototyping for evaluation purposes. Yamaichi

mounting IC sockets for use with MPUs and memory chips are installed in PCs,
telephones, office automation equipment and a wide variety of other
electronic devices.Having invented the Nanoflex
half-pitch IDC type of connector, Yamaichi offers a complete line of
standard 1.27mm pitch IDCs as well as a broad spectrum of other connectors.
IDCs are attached to flat ribbon cables that connect circuit boards inside
pieces of equipment such as computers, HDDs, printers and CD-ROM drives.
Inter-face or I/O connectors, such as SCSI, are utilized on the backs of PCs
and other types of equipment. The Company manufacturers its connectors in
various shapes, sizes and circuit configurations to meet specific
requirements, such as the PowerPod connector for Intel's latest heat-sinked
Itanium ™ and McKinley microprocessors for advanced servers.
With a total of four manufacturing plants in Japan,
one in the Philippines, one in China and one in South Korea (totaling over
