Emerson Achieves Occupational Health and Safety 18001:2007 Certification

Emerson Network Power announced the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001:2007 certification at their Chelmsford, UK facility.

This is a positive reflection on the business and the hard work that all employees have put into certifying this location. The health and safety record for the Chelmsford location is at its highest level and has only been achieved through the efforts of the employees.

“This certification recognizes the business as having a health and safety management system that meets the OHSAS 18001 standard, an internationally recognized assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems,” said Valerie Bentdahl, health and safety specialist at Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in the US.

“More importantly, this certification makes a statement about this business and the standards that Emerson Connectivity holds in regards to health and safety,” said John Pennick, quality manager at Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in the UK.

A follow-up audit for this standard is set for December 2013.
