HCC Interconnect Technologies Names PMR Global as Distributor to Oil and Gas Industry

AMETEK HCC Interconnect Technologies appointed PMR Global as a distributor of its high-temperature, high-pressure (HTHP) bulkheads, PEEK and glass-to-metal sealed feed-thrus, and other highly engineered interconnection devices to the oil and gas industry.

PMR, which has more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, will sell HCC’s products to the oil field services industry in North America and globally to the overseas operations of US-based corporations. The interconnect products it offers are manufactured by HCC at its Hermetic Seal Corporation operation in Rosemead, Calif.

“PMR is an excellent choice to represent our electrical connector and interconnection devices to the oil and gas industry,” said Liam Shanahan, vice president and business unit manager of HCC Interconnect Technologies. “Located in Fort Worth, Tex., PMR Global has an excellent understanding of our oil- and gas-related product lines and a proven ability to develop new business opportunities in this highly attractive marketplace. We expect PMR Global to play a key role as we expand our product offerings to the oil and gas industry.”

“We are pleased to represent HCC’s Hermetic Seal Corporation and look forward to offering its interconnection products to the oil and gas industry,” states John Rymell, vice president of PMR Global. “HCC has a clear understanding of the industry’s requirements, and its products are specifically designed to handle the pressures and temperatures common to oil and gas applications. This agreement strengthens HCC’s position in the oil and gas industry and will allow us to offer local stock for our customers’ immediate needs.”
