the connector umbrella are power entry modules with and without
filters, inlets/outlets, rewireable cord connectors, distribution
units, and cord sets.
Schurter’s vast
selection of connectors ranges from simple inlets/outlets to
multifunctional power entry modules. Additionally, optional
configurations can be selected based on the design requirements.

Power Entry Module without Line Filter:
These devices are based on IEC connectors with
additional elements, which may include a switch,
circuit breaker, fuse/fusedrawer, or a combination
of the above features that perform multiple
functions.

Power Entry Module with Line Filter:
Based on IEC connectors with line filters, they meet
international safety standards and may include
features such as a switch, circuit breaker, and
fuse/fusedrawer. Schurter offers PEMS with filters
in standard or medical versions, sealed IP
protection, and AC and DC types.

Rewireable Cord Connectors:
AC
cord connectors meet IEC, UL, and CSA international
safety standards. Available in currents ranging from
2.5 to 20 amps, pin temperature ranging from 70° -
155° with straight and 90° angle plugs.

Cord Sets:
Schurter offers a variety of power cord sets mating
to the various appliance connectors and plugs. They
meet international safety standards according to IEC,
UL, and CSA, where applicable. Current ratings range
from 2.5 to 20 amps.

Distribution Units:
Ganged outlets, combination plug connector and
rewireable connector, combo appliance inlet/outlet,
and more. Schurter power distribution units meet
international safety standards according to IEC, UL,
and CSA, where applicable. Current ratings range
from 2.5 to 20 amps.

Schurter’s new Mating Connectors tool
helps pinpoint the right connection.
 Knowing
which counterpart to choose for a given component is one thing,
finding it is another. Schurter has simplified this task with the
new
“Mating Connectors” parametric search feature, a fast and
flexible tool that can be accessed online. Schurter offers the
largest portfolio of appliance couplers according to IEC 60320, as
well as the corresponding power supply and interconnection cords.
For better clarity, these are divided into several functional
groups, such as connectors, distribution units, power entry modules
with and without filter, cord connectors or cord sets. The product
search within these functional groups can be narrowed down further
by selecting the corresponding product characteristics. All of the
over 2,000 possible connector combination/mating options (all based
on IEC connector parameters) are now available under
parametric search.
