Reliability has been the cornerstone of HIRELCO’s business since 1967, when HiRel Connectors Inc. was founded to produce hermetic connectors. In 1975, HIRELCO began designing and building environment-resisting plugs and receptacles for aircraft hydraulic systems. Since then, HIRELCO has been designing and manufacturing connectors to survive the harshest conditions in the industry. The company is well known for introducing a truly self-locking plug that stays locked under the most extreme vibrations/conditions. HIRELCO prides itself in maintaining the highest quality standards, and strives to be on the forefront of innovation and technology.

Customer goals are central to HIRELCO’s business. The company’s engineers and staff create custom application connections for the customer, rather than designing around a standard connector. HIRELCO has succeeded time after time in building the connector that no one else could build, while still holding to its quality standards—connectors that last for the life of the project or aircraft. Custom applications range from high-density to high-temperature, and even to custom shell/insert arrangements. HIRELCO provides connectors and cable assemblies to military, commercial, and custom application markets.

By keeping its manufacturing and assembly in house, HIRELCO insures that its products are built by highly knowledgeable, quality-driven people. By utilizing Continuous Measurable Improvement (CMI), and achieving AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards, HIRELCO maintains an effective quality control system.
