RJ45

RJ45 (registered jack 45) connectors are most commonly used with Ethernet cables in networks. The eight-position, eight-contact modular plug and jack connects twisted-pair wires in local area networks. Two wiring schemes are used to terminate the cable into the plug connector interface—T568A and T568B. The socket side, which is generally connected directly to a PC board, is available with or without integrated magnetics.
