The Big Picture: “In addition to standard production lead times, TLC offers premium Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) service for those applications that require product WHEN YOU NEED IT NOW!”

About the Company

Founded in 1984, TLC has emerged as one of the premier North American suppliers with responsive service, automated equipment, knowledgeable personnel, quick turnaround, competitive pricing, and quality products. TLC is registered with Perry Johnson Registrars Inc. as an ISO 9001:2008 supplier and is a recognized UL and CUL supplier.

TLC Electronics Inc. is a Minnesota-based value added distributor of electromechanical components that prides itself on the highest levels of customer service with on-time delivery and high-quality products, delivered at affordable prices.

“The increasing costs of offshoring, the requirement for faster turnaround, and the desire to have better communication has led to a trend in “onshoring” by North American manufacturers,” said Rich Crofford, president. “TLC’s strong inventory position and QRM program have allowed us to be a resource to our customers, offering competitively priced products with the speed, quality, and local support required to get their products to market in a timely manner.”

Value-Added Assemblies

In addition to providing the electromechanical components from its franchised component suppliers, TLC understands that not every cable assembly shop has the same tooling and process capabilities. Therefore, TLC also provides value-added assemblies to many of its competitive cable assembly shops. It is one of JST’s largest distributors and is tooled for most JST series. In addition, TLC has high-speed tooling for many non-franchised connector suppliers and is ready to provide its customers with electromechanical components from its lineup of franchised suppliers or with competitively priced sub-assemblies, allowing their personnel to complete the final assembly at their facilities.
