ITT Cannonbayonet connector from ITT Cannon’s CA Bayonet reverse-bayonet connectors introduced the reverse bayonet coupling mechanism to market, are widely recognized as the most rugged, reliable, and versatile VG95234 connectors available, and provide field-proven performance in critical harsh-environment applications in the industrial, instrumentation, rail, oil and gas, heavy equipment, commercial and military aerospace, defense vehicle, and medical markets. The series enables quick and easy mating and unmating, provides audible and visual confirmation of proper mating, and exhibits best-in-class shielding performance and exceptional resistance to shock and vibration, temperatures extending from -55°C to +125°C, and contaminants including fuels, lubricants, and other fluids. The CA Bayonet series offers the complete range of VG95234 variants, as well as one of the widest and most diverse commercial portfolio extensions, and is available in 12 shell sizes (#10SL to #36) and 140 layouts with up to 65 crimp, solder, or PCB contacts. It also offers environmental sealing solutions rated up to IP69k and an extensive range of accessories and RoHS-compliant plating materials, including the only VG-approved alternative to cadmium (A239) and the company’s proprietary Blue Generation plating (A240), and is rated for a minimum of 500 mating cycles and available with short lead times from ITT Cannon’s global partner network.

Binderbayonet connector from from Binder’s Bayonet NCC Series connectors for medical applications are available in field-attachable cable connector and panel-mount connector configurations with a bayonet locking mechanism that enables quick and easy assembly and ensures secure connections. The series features lightweight, DEHP-free plastic housings, IP67 protection and eight gold-plated brass contacts and is rated for 175V, 2A, and a minimum of 5,000 mating cycles in operating temperatures extending from -25°C to +85°C. Bayonet NCC cable connectors have an ergonomic design with a 19.9mm diameter, solder terminations, and three cable outlet size ranges spanning 2.5–8mm and provide IP67 protection when properly mated and correctly locked. Bayonet NCC panel-mount connectors have a 17.6mm diameter form factor with solder/dip solder terminations and provide IP67 protection even when unmated. Plastic parts for both come standard in a grayish white color (similar to RAL 9002) but are available in other colors upon request.

The series is available in one-, two-, and three-pole variants rated for 300A and 500A standard, or 750A upon request, and with optional 360° EMI/RFI shielding.

RS Components Americas stocks SOURIAU’s UTG Series metal and plastic connectors for heavy-duty applications including industrial robotics, rail transportation systems, and fiber-to-the-home and fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTH and FTTA) architectures. UTG Series connectors have an economical, lightweight, and UV-resistant UL94 V-0 plastic shell with a robust, metal, one-third-turn bayonet coupling mechanism that supports quick and easy mating and unmating, provides audible confirmation of proper mating, and employs IP65 sealing. The series also offers mixed signal and power layouts, exhibits rugged resistance to mechanical shock and vibration and operating temperatures extending from -55°C to +125°C, is rated for up to 500 mating cycles and compliant with REACH and RoHS requirements, and is intermateable and interchangeable with SOURIAU’s UTO, UTP, and UTS Series solutions. UTG Series connectors are available in eight shell sizes (#10–24) and 17 layouts with 2–48 Trim Trio contacts and accessories including cable clamps and glands, metal shrink boots, dust caps, and gaskets. Contact options include machined or stamped and formed constructions in four sizes (#20, 16, 12, and 8) and standard or first-mate, last-break (FMLB) styles, various plating materials, and ratings up to 44A.

BTC Electronic Components offers Glenair’s Series 803 Mighty Mouse Hermetic Receptacles, which have a ruggedized, ultraminiature, and lightweight design with push-to-mate and quarter-turn bayonet locking mechanisms and are ideal for use in light-duty, general-purpose, quick-connect and -disconnect applications including handheld military and commercial radios, sensors, test equipment, and autosport diagnostics. Standard constructions feature eight sizes (#5–14) of passivated or nickel-plated 304L stainless steel shells in jam-nut and flange mount configurations with normal or alternate (X, Y, Z) keying, fused vitreous glass insulators, fluorosilicone seals that provide splash protection and resist most chemicals, and up to 55 gold-plated iron-alloy (Alloy 52) solder-cup or PC-tail contacts in five sizes (#23–8), but titanium and Iconel shell materials are available upon request. The series exhibits 50mΩ shell-to-shell resistance, a maximum helium leak rate of 1 x 10-7cc/second at 1atm vacuum, and fair EMI shielding, withstands up to 300g shock and 37g random vibration, and is rated for 500VAC, 3–33A, and 500 mating cycles in operating temperatures extending from -65°C to +200°C.

The new Talon Mini TB Series connectors from Positronic have a miniature form factor with a knurled, quarter-turn, bayonet coupling mechanism that provides audible and tactile confirmation of proper mating and hybrid inserts designed to push the limits of power and performance in mission-critical military and aerospace applications. Features include aluminum shells plated with electroless nickel, black, halogen-free, polarized LCP insulators with five- and six-pin layouts, a combination of size #18 and #22 copper alloy contacts plated with gold flash, 0.76µin, or 1.27µin of gold, and a 360° banding shelf near the wire exit, as well as compatibility with UL95 V-0, FAE 25-853(a), and FAR 25-855(d) flammability, smoke, and toxicity standards. The new TB Series is rated for 14A (power), 3A (signal), and 500 mating cycles in operating temperatures extending from -55°C to +125°C and can be made to provide IP65 protection in cable-to-cable configurations with overmolding or shrink tubing.

Amphenol Industrial’s GT Series reverse-bayonet connectors were originally developed for military use but are now widely used in commercial, geophysical, aerospace, ground support, and shipboard applications and are a preferred connector for mass transit applications. The heavy-duty connector series features quick-coupling aluminum or stainless steel shells that provide audible, tactile, and visual confirmation of proper mating, are sealed to IP67 when mated, and ruggedly withstand shock, vibration, and operating temperatures extending from -55°C to +125°C with neoprene and flame-retardant, low-smoke inserts or up to +200°C with Viton inserts. Additional options include wall-mount receptacle, inline receptacle, straight-plug, and jam-nut receptacle shell styles with cadmium-free zinc alloy or numerous commercial plating materials, SAE AS50151 insert patterns, silver- or gold-plated contacts with crimp or solder terminations, RADSOK contacts for up to 50% more ampacity, and a resilient cover coupling for added damage protection and increased gripping surface. GT Series connectors are also intermateable with existing VG95234 connectors, UL recognized, and rated for a minimum of 2,000 couplings and are readily available through authorized distributors including Avnet and Heilind Electronics.

Siemonbayonet connector from Siemon’s Gen2 (G2) Ruggedized Z-MAX outlets combine the premium performance and termination process of its RJ45 Z-MAX outlets for copper connectivity with proven-durable, quarter-turn bayonet-coupling shells sealed to IP66 or IP67 for use in harsh-environment applications including hospitals, laboratories, and food processing plants. The sealing mechanisms protect both plugs and outlets from dust, moisture, vibration, and common cleaning chemicals and the straightforward coupling mechanism eliminates potential mating errors and sets a new benchmark for the fastest UTP and shielded Cat 6a outlet termination speed. G2 Z-MAX outlets are comprised of a ruggedized housing, gasket, locking nut, outlet/termination module, and securing clip and are designed to be inserted from the front of the faceplate, with the locking nut positioned behind it, to support the use of aggressive locking nuts that are easier to fully tighten by hand, without the use of tools. They can terminate 26–23AWG solid cable and 26AWG stranded cable with up to 0.60mm-diameter conductors and up to 1.48mm-diameter over insulation and are available with a specialized G2 Ruggedized outlet dust cap that features a nylon tether in place of the usual chain and can be attached post-installation. The series is also recognized by the Open DeviceNet Vendor Association (ODVA) and compatible with TIA-1005-2009 and IEC 61076-3-106 standards, as well as with all Siemon Ruggedized Surface-Mount Boxes, Stainless Steel Faceplates, and Patch Cords.

TE Connectivitybayonet connector from TE DEUTSCH’s DEUTSCH DL Series bayonet-coupling circular connectors are qualified to the MIL-DTL-83723 Series III standard and built to ease and hasten installation, withstand extreme environmental conditions, and provide high-reliability performance in applications including military and commercial aircraft, communication systems, and high-temperature industrial equipment. The series features scoop-proof aluminum shells in square flange, jam-nut, straight plug, and RFI plug styles with black anodized, electroless nickel, or olive drab cadmium over nickel plating, passivated stainless steel bayonet pins, visual confirmation of proper mating, and anti-friction washers that maintain constant mating force. It also features rigid plastic dielectric insulators, silicone-based elastomer seals, RFI shielding, closed-entry socket inserts for positive pin alignment, a rear-release crimp contact system for superior contact stability, copper alloy contacts plated with 50µin selective gold, raised moisture barriers around each pin for individual contact sealing, and triple-wire sealing over a wide range of wire diameters. DEUTSCH DL Series connectors ruggedly withstand shock, vibration, and operating temperatures extending from -65°C to +200°C, are rated for 500 mating cycles and up to 600VACrms/850VDC (Service Rating I) or 900VACrms/1,250VDC (Service Rating II), and are intermateable with standard bayonet MIL-DTL-36500 connectors.

JAEbayonet connector from JAE‘s JL10 Series circular waterproof connectors have a compact, low-profile design with versatile cable entry orientations, IP67 sealing, rugged resistance against vibration and oil, and a hybrid threaded/one-touch mating mechanism. The bayonet-style one-touch mating mechanism reduces screw-down fastening, eliminates torque control, and establishes secure JL10 plug and receptacle connections in industrial applications with significant space constraints and limited visibility, as well as enables visible confirmation of proper mating via a white guide mark, while the threaded mating mechanism further extends mating compatibility to conventional MIL-standard MS connectors and JAE’s JL04V, N/MS, and JA screw-mating plugs. The series also offers individually waterproof receptacles and waterproof mated pairs, is rated for 500 mating cycles, and is UL recognized and TÜV approved. Additional options include eight cable entry orientations in 45° increments, four contact sizes and maximum current ratings (#4, 80A; #8, 46A; #12, 23A; and #16, 13A), six pin counts (4, 9, 17, 19, 22, and 37), and two termination options: solder terminations, which are available for all receptacles, and crimp terminations, which are available for pin arrangements 18–10 and 22–22.

Amphenol ICCbayonet connector from Amphenol ICC’s Rugged MRD Series Circular Locking Connectors provide reliable power or signal connections in harsh industrial, instrumentation, and medical applications including power generation equipment, smart grids, LED lighting, MRI and CT scanners, and ultrasound equipment. The sealed circular connectors offer IP67 protection against water and dust ingress, are rated for up to 10A and 500V to support high-power applications, and are available in 2-, 3-, and 4-position form factors to support design flexibility. Additional options include all-plastic constructions or locking metal housings with a one-third-turn bayonet locking mechanism or quick-release metal latches, panel-mount or cable terminations, and optional finger-proof protection. The series is rated for 500-cycle durability in operating temperatures extending from -55°C to +105°C and is compliant with RoHS and REACH/SVHC directives.
