Coaxicom Increases Manufacturing Capability in Subminiature and Microminiature Connector Market

Since its founding in 1984, Coaxial Components Corp. (Coaxicom) has been a leading source for Microwave and RF connectors and adapters for domestic and international markets. Following the acquisition of AEP (Applied Engineering Products) by the French company, Radiall, inventories and availability of subminiature and microminiature connectors have been limited across the industry. Coaxicom has recently expanded its manufacturing resources to fill that void in the marketplace.

Coaxicom’s line of subminiature and microminiature connectors are well suited for low-profile, high-frequency requirements. The SMB (snap-on) and SMC (screw-on) subminiature series are designed for applications operating to 4GHz (SMB) or 10GHz (SMC). Coaxicom offers both 50- and 75-Ohm versions. The series’ relatively small size provides flexibility in applications where space is limited. Coaxicom’s SSMB and SSMC microminiatures series are 75% smaller and designed for applications operating to 12GHz.
