CONEC M8x1 Connectors

The CONEC M8x1 connectors are field-installable and allow for custom-fit wiring.

CONEC ‘s field-attachable connectors make it possible to custom-fit wiring, with easy on-site installable connector terminations. For additional electromagnetic protection in the transmission of sensitive data and signals, CONEC has expanded its M8x1 field-attachable connector series by adding variants with 360° shielding.

These connectors are ideal for automation engineering applications such as robot controls or in the packaging and printing industries.

With the new variants of the M8x1 connector, cables with a conductor cross-section between 0.14mm² and 0.5mm² (AWG 26 to 20) can be connected by screw terminals. The connection technology accepts both solid or stranded cables, which can be inserted with or without wire-end ferrules.

The field-attachable connectors are available as female or male connectors with three or four poles. The housings are designed for cables with overall diameters between 5mm and 6.5mm.

The connectors have a brass nickel-plated housing, with a voltage rating of 60V for the three-pole version and 30V for the four-pole version, and a current rating of 4A at +40ºC with 0.5mm². The operating temperature range is -30ºC to +85ºC, and the connectors are IP67-rated when mated.
