FCI EconoStik 2.54mm Headers

introduced the economical EconoStik 2.54mm range of un-shrouded headers, which is capable of supporting a wide variety of board-to-board applications.EconoStik 2.54mm headers are available in single-row and double-row versions with vertical thru-hole, right-angle thru-hole, and vertical SMT versions, with pin counts up to 72 positions. Standard mating and tail as well as customizable lengths are available to support specific applications.
The un-shrouded header has four equal surfaces that ensure good mating performance with different types of receptacles. It features a current rating of 3A and a retention force between pin and housing of 9N per pin.
The high-temperature resin supports wave soldering and reflow soldering. It is able to withstand voltages as high as 1500VAC. The housing’s resin is UL94V-0 flammability-rated and meets industry standards UL E66906 and CSA LR46923.
“EconoStik is a RoHS-compliant and lead-free product. This product is built to support up to 50 mating cycles,” said Fabrizio Stango, product portfolio director. “It comes in handy tape-and-reel packaging with a pick-up cap.”
EconoStik 2.54mm headers can be used in various board-to-board applications such as industrial control, test equipment, metering, POS machines, set-top boxes, surveillance equipment, and vending machines.
