GTK recently released its DisplayPort cable assemblies, which the company says offer double the bandwidth of HDMI technology.

Primarily designed as a digital interface between a video source and display devices, DisplayPort technology can also be deployed to transmit audio and data signals. The GTK range of assemblies are compliant to the VESA standard and the DisplayPort 1.2 specification with a maximum bandwidth of 21.6Gb/s.

As well as the standard DisplayPort connection, Mini DisplayPort assemblies are available for use with peripheral devices.
