TE’s CeeLok FAS-T nano circular connector expands its high-speed, harsh environment offerings for military, commercial aerospace, and marine/offshore applications.
TE’s CeeLok FAS-T nano circular connector, a nanominiature, rugged I/O connector capable of meeting 10 GB Ethernet performance, provides a proven, noise-cancelling contact configuration that minimizes crosstalk, making it ideal for a variety of markets and applications, including missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), soldier systems, and C4ISR.
“The need to transfer video and data at high speeds is increasing throughout the market,” said Steve McIntire, product manager, Global Aerospace, Defense & Marine, TE Connectivity. “The CeeLok FAS-T nano circular connector provides a high-speed/bandwidth I/O connector in a form factor that occupies less than 3/8” (9.5mm) of panel space, along with the reliable, rugged performance pedigree of TE’s Nanonics connector family.”
TE’s CeeLok FAS-T nano circular connector has an ergonomic, nanominiature design that requires less weight and bulk, therefore saving money. Available in board-mount and cable-applied versions with quick disconnect or threaded coupling options, the connector is suitable for weapons, ground support systems, soldier-worn applications, avionics, instrumentation, and down-hole telemetry tools. The connectors are available in corrosion-resistant, nickel-plated aluminum or stainless steel.
TE’s new connector system achieves outstanding signal integrity because of its T-shaped pin pattern that provides noise cancellation and decoupling to minimize cross-talk. This latest addition to the CeeLok FAS-T connector family has been designed for optimum high-speed signal performance in the harshest environments in military, commercial aerospace, and marine/offshore applications.
